    Do I need to have online banking to participate in eStatements?

    Yes, you need to be enrolled in online banking. Click here to register for Hickory Point & Click online banking.

    Is there a cost to enroll in eStatements?
    100% FREE  There is no charge for Hickory Point Bank & Trust’s eStatement service.

    What are the benefits of receiving an eStatement?
    • Convenient.  eStatements and canceled check images are available online at any time- for 12 months.
    • Fast.  eStatements can be accessed days before a paper statement would arrive in the mail.
    • Email Reminders.  You will receive an email notification when your new eStatement is available for viewing. 
    • Efficient. You can download your eStatements and file may be imported to money management software or a spreadsheet.
    • Secure.  Reduce the risk of statements being lost or stolen in the mail.
    • Safe.  Your eStatement is protected by the latest security measures available.
    • Environmentally Friendly.  Stay clutter-free and conserve resources by accessing your statement online.

    How will I enroll for estatements?
    Auto enroll through your Hickory Point & Click online banking account.  If you experience any difficulties, call us at 217.875.3131 for assistance.

     

    How will I know when a new eStatement is ready to be viewed?Email Reminders.  You will receive an email notification when your statement is ready.
    When, during the month, will my eStatement be available online?
    You will continue to receive your regular account statement online, either monthly or quarterly, depending on the type of account.
    Will my canceled checks be included in my eStatement?
    Yes, eStatements and canceled check images are available online for 12 months.
    How do I view my eStatement?
    You must have the Adobe Reader installed on your computer to view your downloaded eStatement.  This is a very simple process and free of charge.  Once you are logged into Online Banking, click on the account you want to view.  Click on the option, “Statements”.  
    Can I enroll for more than one checking and savings account?
    Yes, simply fill out an online account change request form and include all account numbers in which you wish to receive an eStatement.
    If I currently am enrolled in eStatements, how do I add or delete an account?
    Simply fill out an online account change request form.

    What if I enroll, then decide I want to switch back to paper statements?
    Simply fill out an online account change request form or contact a customer service representative at 217.875.3131.
    How do I get a copy of a previous month eStatement?
    12 months of eStatements and canceled check images are available for download online any time.

    What if I need a copy of a canceled check?
    12 months of eStatements and canceled check images are available for download online at any time.  A $3.00 fee will be charged per statement if a paper copy is needed.
    What security methods are used to protect my eStatements?
    The security of your account information and financial data is of utmost importance to us. That is why Hickory Point & Click utilizes the latest technology, which was developed to safeguard data through 128 bit encryption or coding of information.  This creates barriers between systems that can only be crossed with authorized passwords, and by creating safe pathways to and from each system.
    What if I don’t receive my eStatement email alert this month?
    If you have not received your eStatement email notification, please verify your correct email address is on file at Hickory Point Bank by contacting a customer service representative at 217.875.3131.

      What is Hickory Point & Click?
      Hickory Point & Click is a convenient, safe and secure way to conduct most of your everyday banking transactions by way of an internet connection. You can access all of your Hickory Point Bank and Trust accounts, except for credit card accounts.

      How much does Hickory Point & Click cost?
      Hickory Point & Click is free of charge to customers of Hickory Point Bank and Trust.

      If I sign up for Hickory Point & Click will I still receive a statement in the mail? Yes. You will continue to receive your statements.

      How many months of statements can I view online?
      You can view the current and previous month's statements.

      Do I have a limit as to how many accounts I can view online?
      There is no limit.

      Are there limits to the number of transfers I can make?
      Some accounts, such as checking accounts, have no limits as to the number of transfers you can make. However, many savings and money market accounts, by Federal Regulation, are allowed a predetermined number of withdrawals and transfers per statement cycle. If you’re unsure whether your account has this restriction or if your account has excess item charges, please check with us.

      How do I sign up for Hickory Point & Click?
      Customers with accounts at Hickory Point Bank and Trust may sign up for Hickory Point & Click by completing an application. Go to the
      "Register Online" section and agree to the Online Banking Agreement . After completing the form, you can either click submit, fax, or send it by regular mail to us for processing.

      How do I log on to Hickory Point & Click for the first time?
      Go to the "First Time User" section of the Online Banking page and follow the easy steps.

      What if I forget my password?
      To regain access to the system, please call our main office at (866) 242-6262.

      I have entered my password incorrectly several times and now that I remember it, I can’t get into the system.
      As a security feature, you have only 3 attempts to enter your password correctly before you are locked out of the system. To regain access, please call our main office at (866) 242-6262.

      One of my accounts is not listed in my summary of accounts.

      Please call our customer service center at (866) 242-6262, and we will ensure that all of your accounts are included in your portfolio. Remember that you must be an owner on the account in order to view its information.
